Kipp & Zonen
The Kipp & Zonen CM 22 pyranometer is a high precision instrument, designed for measuring the global radiance (W/m2) on a plane surface, which is the sum of the direct solar radiation plus the diffuse radiation incident from the hemisphere above. Their main features are:
Negligible thermal gradient zero-offset
Lowest zero-offset due to FIR radiation
Broadened spectral range 200 nm - 3600 nm
Directional error <5 W/m2
Low temperature dependency of sensitivity
The CM 22 complies with the specifications for the best of three classes, "High quality", as defined by the World Meteorological Organization.
